Attorney

A graduate of the University Of Georgia School of Law, David Dekle is a highly rated trial attorney with more than 23 years of trial experience in both State and Federal courts in Georgia.  David is a former insurance defense lawyer who learned his craft and gained expertise defending corporations, retail establishments, local governments, physicians, and insurance companies in serious personal injury, wrongful death, and civil rights cases.  Since 2012, David has dedicated his practice to the representation of individuals and families in serious personal injury and wrongful death cases arising out of automobile accidents, tractor trailer accidents, slip and fall accidents, product liability and defect claims, and medical malpractice to name a few.

David’s mission is to zealously represent the injured and their families who have suffered harm due to the negligence of others.   With his knowledge of insurance claims practices and defense strategies, David is exceptionally equipped to tackle big insurance companies, big corporations, and big government.   His background and expertise in insurance law and his experience resolving hundreds of cases by settlement or jury verdict for both plaintiffs and defendants makes him uniquely qualified to take on the most complex of cases and to enforce his clients’ rights to full and complete compensation.

David has a Bachelor of Science in Forest Resources and a Juris Doctorate from the University of Georgia where he served as president of his third year law school class.  Before law school, he worked on Capitol Hill in Washington, DC.   David has served on the Executive Board of the Augusta Bar Association and in other professional organizations including The Kiwanis Club of Augusta, The Augusta Rescue Mission, GRIDIRON, AGHON, and First Baptist Church of Augusta.  Presently, David serves as the District One Representative on the Columbia County Board of Education.  He is married to Patricia, and they have five children.
